After joining WildEarth fifteen years ago, my role quickly evolved from being responsible for the remote site technical equipment to being a key contributor to evolving the concept of broadcasting live safaris and making WildEarth what it is today: The world's leading LIVE wildlife channel with over 7 million monthly unique viewers. My contributions to this progression cover not merely the evolution, implementation, and management of the technical aspects, but range across all disciplines of the business. From finance and business analytics all the way to community engagement and human resource management. Now, the time has come for a new challenge, and I'm leaving WildEarth in the hands of the next generation of management. As a firm believer in WildEarth's mission - connecting people with nature - and having seen the great power and benefits of this concept during the pandemic lockdowns, this is an area I'd like to remain involved with.Having a very broad set of skills and experience, and being able to think analytically as well as creatively - a cross between McGyver, Mr. Spock, and a Renaissance Man - I would be a great fit for any team that's looking to pull up their sleeves to get things done in challenging conditions and with fast-evolving technologies.
