M.Sc. & CSCP and founding partner of PortExpertise, having a track record of +30 years in maritime ports & trade related projects, assisting public and private clients. This expertise is renowned by international organizations (World Bank, European agencies DG MOVE-MARE-EEAS, ...). As member of EU's Digital Transport Logistics Forum (DTLF) (e-documents /data exchange infrastructure,) I am positioned at the crossroad of the exiting interaction between logistics and its ongoing digitization wave. My participation as expert in European funded projects include eFTI4EU, FENIX (European Federated Network of Information eXchange in LogistiX) - and the sequel FENIX2.0, DockstheFuture, Maritime Single Windows (AnNa), River Information Services (CoRISma & RISComex), along World bank and private sector projects. EU funding schemes are very familiar to me, as bid manager and project/activity lead have no secrets. Geographically this experience is gained in actions performed in all major EU maritime states, along with United Arab Emirates, Africa region, Middle East and South Asia, Balkans. PortExpertise is located in Antwerp, and has expert partners operating on a global scale.As spin-off of a global trade project for EEAS (European External Action Service), I co-created EUGG Advisors. This team leverages its experience, assists businesses in developing strategies to access and benefit from the Global Gateway initiative.As group, PortExpertise activities are concentrated around 3 pillars: strategy, digitization and finance of maritime port logistics related projects, and the related digital aspects. We do this by combining traditional project methodology with in-depth knowledge of port and terminal related topics.
