Mechanical engineer turned software entrepreneur and coworking space owner. I'm a creator that works on intuition, so I start by doing, then continuously improve. This approach works great when I am building my own products. As a mechanical engineer, I worked in SOLIDWORKS for weeks at a time and I loved it. But I saw so many opportunities to streamline workflows that I quit my job and started CAD Booster to create software on top of SOLIDWORKS. I still had to learn how to develop, sell and market software, though. My flagship products:- Drew: for automating the boring bits of making 2D drawings- Lightning: to finally improve working with fasteners in SOLIDWORKSI loved being part of a work community at The Cee Spot. I ended up on the board, where we had no choice but to shut it down during covid. In my attempt to keep a great group of people together, I started my own coworking space called Spotlight. My goal with Spotlight is to create a great place to work for freelancers, entrepreneurs and myself.
