Engaged to provide executive leadership for architecture and design by Whittle School & Studios, a NYC-based start-up educational enterprise. The world's first global school envisions a network of campuses in 30 of the world’s most vibrant cities. Peter served on the firm's executive leadership team, a team of renowned professionals in their related fields, assembled to guide the organization through the launch of two sites and the closing of three major rounds of private equity financing, approximately ~$450M.To deliver, Peter engaged globally respected firms: Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Arup, Alvisi Kirimoto, Perkins Eastman, CCDI, GOA, TUS design, Gleeds and Bennett Elia. Under his direction, the teams developed the design for over $500M of completed construction, including campus sites Shenzhen and Washington DC opening in 2019.Each campus ranges in size from 56,000 sm to 110,000 sm, up to 2,500 students and up to 1,500 student boarders. The completed projects along with those in construction support a global campus of over 7,000 students. In addition to campus sites that went into construction, Peter directed pre-development design activities for campus sites in London, New York, Silicon Valley, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Dubai, Mumbai, and New Delhi.He developed the interior design for Whittle Studios sites in Nanjing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai, each approximately 4,000sm. During this four-year period, Peter led design and engineering teams daily across three continents, six countries and sixteen time zones. In September 2019, two campus locations opened on two continents in two days. In Shenzhen, a new 625,000sf urban school – Renzo Piano's first completed project in China – and the RPBW designed adaptive re-use of John Andrew's 650,000 sf Intelsat building in Washington DC.For the a 100K sm campus currently in construction on premier site in Suzhou High-Speed Rail New Town development, Peter engaged the Shanghai-based Perkins Eastman.

During a 12-year tenure with Perkins+Will, Peter developed program-driven design processes with the Chicago-based K-12 practice for projects around the world.
