I led the global transition and rollout from home-made ERP and E-Commerce solutions to more standard solutions and platforms, i.e. Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O, Sales, HR, Marketing) and Magento. This was a multi year/million project including external consultants and off-shore developers ending up in a virtual team of around 100 people. The biggest challenge was here the required customizations to cover the business requirements and implement missing platform functionailty while the company grew by people, acquistions, locations and IPO at the same time. At the end we had built a solution the agile way ending up in an internal product being used by 1000+ users serving 300k+ customers in every country of the world.

In order to go-to-market efficiently with Blizz (TeamViewer Meeting) and considering a different sales and marketing strategy, we created a (the first) cross functional business unit to cover everything needed in one team, me being the Business Owner with full P&L responsibility.

TeamViewer hired me as the 2nd director in product management to cover two product lines and teams, namely Blizz (TeamViewer Meeting) and ITbrain (TeamViewer Remote Management). This included people in the roles of product managers, product owners, UX/UI experts and project management.Approaching a product launch (Blizz) I also owned the project plan for the go-to-market, working closely with product marketing and communications.

Being succesfull in product marketing before and taking more ownership in uncovered product management areas I accepted the role of the VP product to run product management and marketing with a team consisting of product manager and product marketing manager as well as project manager and UX/UI experts.In this role I also covered analyst coverage and especially the relation with Gartner.Additionally, the documentation and localization team has been added to my product management team.
