The business was acquired by EY in August 2015. Peter has been the business's primary advisor throughout its development and its subsequent acquisition by EY.

Peter and colleagues set up Xayce Consulting in 1997. Xayce specialised in the delivery of business change solutions for major blue chip organisations across a range of industries. Xayce was acquired by Morse plc in 2007 and was subsequently sold to Capita Consulting in 2011. Peter left upon the successful completion of the post acquisition period in 2010.
