About Peter Atkinson

👋🏻 Hi, I'm Peter Atkinson. I'm a creative entrepreneur, executive producer, and founder. I love building companies, solving difficult problems through vision & execution, and building high-performing and healthy teams.🇨🇦 I was born in Canada, grew up near Washington, D.C. and studied Classics at Ave Maria University. While at Ave Maria University I received their most prestigious award, The President’s Award, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Right after graduation, I founded a study abroad program in Rome and a Shakespearean acting program in Florida and, after training in Massachusetts and London, I went on to Columbia University’s graduate school, earning a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting. 🎬 While in graduate school, I starred Off Broadway and founded The Merry Beggars, an entertainment production company. In 2021, The Merry Beggars was acquired by Relevant Radio in Chicago. I moved to Chicago to develop original entertainment programming for Relevant Radio, reaching more than 260 million people. We've since gathered millions of downloads, a six-figure email list, and told countless beautiful stories with hundreds of actors.
