I have been in the property industry for over 45 years and have experience in all aspects of agency practice and franchise development. Additionally, as a Director of Loan Market in Queensland, my responsibility spanned over residential, commercial and asset finance growing the franchise network across the state. I switched my focus to the growth and development of 3rd party facility management in the Self Storage industry. I also continue my involvement in the property industry as a Director of the Real Estate Institute of Qld and private business and agency practise consulting to a number of agency business owners, large and small in the real estate sector.My career started in 1976 in Sydney's eastern suburbs in property management. I established my first office at the age of 26 on Sydney's North Shore , my second one at 28. My career changed in 1992 moving from franchisee to franchisor joining the Ray White group as CEO in Victoria. In 1994 I moved to Auckland where for the next several years led the Ray White group in New Zealand. Our family moved back to Australia in 1997 when I became the CEO of Ray White Queensland and held the position until 2015. During that year an opportunity was presented to me to join our finance brokering business, Loan Market Queensland which I held for 3 years.My role was to develop the relationship between our franchise companies, the integration of adjacent services of offered by Ray White and Loan Market.I believe the key to a successful business is having the right people in your team together with strong leadership. I am always seeking new ways to improve the performance of our business, and to provide a better value experience for our clients. On a personal note, I'm a proud father of three boys and on the weekend you will find me spending time with my family or keeping fit by competitively rowing which is something I am also passionate about. I strongly believe that ongoing personal development and fitness is the secret to remaining energised and allowing you to perform at your best.
