Peter Cherukuri's career has focused on connecting the mission of newsrooms with revenue and technology innovation in senior executive roles at major media companies such as Cheddar, POLITICO, Huffington Post and the Economist Group. Over the last few years, he has leveraged his years of media industry experience to advise emerging media companies and start new ones. Peter's dedication to education and philanthropy is evident through his previous work as the President of startup incubator, 1776, the co-founder of angel investment group K Street Capital, and the executive director of the data privacy think tank, The Data Catalyst Institute. As a graduate of Colgate University, Peter serves on numerous boards, including NPR station WAMU, National Press Foundation, and the Close Up Foundation.
