I was initially contracted to provide project management services for two system upgrades. In this role, I served as lead project manager for a $50M clinical infrastructure upgrade project for South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside NY. I successfully evaluated / replaced Sunquest RIS with GE Centricity RIS. I was instrumental in providing IT Consulting Services to organizations seeking to upgrade their existing clinical infrastructure.𝙈𝙮 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚:► Advised and provided first-class consulting services for clients seeking to leverage resources to grow their OB/GYN Network.► Evaluated reporting software options for creation of regional ACO.

As the CIO - I served as a member of the management team, which successfully expanded RAI from $14M to $35M in revenue annually. The annual exam volume grew from 55,000 exams to 650,000. I also expanded the practice from a local radiology group to being nationally recognized as #31 out of the 75 largest radiology practices in the country.𝙈𝙮 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚:► Headed and oversaw all aspects of information technology utilized by RAI, including requirement definitions, budgeting, RFP, product selection process, contract negotiations, procurement, staffing, implementation, and operations. ► Spearheaded several implementations of Novarad, GE Centricity, and Ramsoft PACS systems, including GE RIS-IC Radiology information system, Powerscribe, and Mmodal voice recognition systems. Led initiatives for ConnectR and Mirth Connect interface engines for GE Billing systems. ► Managed operations of patient management systems, RIS systems, HER / EMR, PACS systems, billing systems, EDI, HL-7 interface engines, wide area networks, security, monitoring, teleradiology infrastructure, telephony, and call centers.► Successfully implemented government-certified EHR technology to meet CMS Meaningful Use incentive criteria for an ambulatory radiology practice.► Negotiated necessary approvals with client hospital management to implement RAI licensed applications to process patient images at hospitals located throughout NJ, PA, and DE. Initiative allowed radiologists to read, consult, and dictate cases Oversaw system migrations, data center moves, and system refresh cycles where replacement of hardware and / or applications were executed with zero downtime during cutovers.► Played a key role in the success of the organization; RAI was the only radiology group in the area with systems available and able to service patients the day after Hurricane Sandy.

I acted as on-site IT manager for Raritan Bay Medical Center and Rahway Hospital. The total beds equaled 700 over three campuses. Managed construction efforts necessary to expand the existing data center without causing downtime. I controlled the implementation of the new clinical systems, which included HIS, RIS, LABS, pharmacy, interface engines, patient dietary management, and patient transportation.𝙈𝙮 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚:► Revamped existing technical staff to provide customer-focused service and standardized network infrastructure with Cisco manufactured equipment to provide a high availability network between hospital campuses, physician offices, and outpatient centers. ► Devised and instituted strategies to ensure system access conforms to HlPAA regulations and directed remediation efforts in preparation for year 2000 (Y2K).► Engineered redundant Citrix environment, which provided enterprise access to, Digital Alpha processors, UNIX, VMS, RISC 6000 platforms, intranet, and internet servers simultaneously from a standard MicrosoftCE based thin client.► Functioned as member of management team charged with selection and implementation of a PACS solution for Raritan Bay Medical Center. The system successfully implemented in November 2001; the hospital converted to 100% filmless by February 2002. ► Functioned as member of the 9/11 task force put in place by Governor Donald Difrancesco to react to potential World Trade Center survivors.
