Peter Chovanes, a 30+ year veteran in San Francisco real estate, was tapped by Gretchen Pearson as Managing Broker for Berkshire Hathaway Drysdale Properties' San Francisco offices. He is currently overseeing their San Francisco Pacific Heights office. Peter began his real estate career over 35 years ago as a commercial office leasing specialist and, over the years, has worked at some of the top firms in the city which has given him first-hand knowledge of what makes a great brokerage. As our Managing Broker and in his own words: "I always felt it was better to lead rather than manage agents and to direct them through coaching and training." Peter is passionate about giving back to the community and has supported the National Kidney Foundation, Glide Memorial Church and occasionally delivers meals to people in need. He is a member of CAR, NAR SFAR and the San Francisco Apartment Association.Peter, a native of Piedmont, owns several properties in the city and enjoys looking for good investment opportunities for friends and clients. He enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and snow skiing. He also travels to his home in Spain where he loves spending long lunches with friends and family.Specialties: Peter is a member of the the Estates Network and the Investment Roundtable.
