For over my 30+ year career at PwC, I have focused principally on the pharmaceuticals and medical device industries. My interest this industry began when I spent four years with PwC in Switzerland working with life science clients. I quickly became passionate about the industry and continue to be fascinated by its technology. Upon my return to the US, I started working in healthcare compliance to help clients engage more confidently and compliantly with customers in promotional and medical interactions. I have worked on compliance risk management across commercial and clinical functions, compliance program organizational design, regulatory affairs, ERM, privacy, and government pricing. I helped over two dozen clients through their settlements and CIAs. This mix of compliance programs and solutions was my specialty for almost 20 years. In 2008, I moved to San Francisco where I enjoyed helping clients to grow and to commercialize their products on their own. I brought PwC's skills across the value chain to help these clients implement risk management programs that create a risk advantage for them in their marketplace. I also enjoyed bringing the combined capabilities of the firm across strategy, operations, regulatory, technology, finance, tax and compliance to lead projects helping firms launch their first products both in the US and abroad. I led our US Healthcare Risk Consulting practice for a number of years and brought the power of the firm to both small and large life science accounts as their Lead Client Partner with a passion for helping them achieve their objectives. From 2019 onwards, I moved into our internal risk management group to "practice what I've preached" on risk, and am now the Risk Management Partner for our Transformation Platform with specific responsibilities for two of our practice teams. I enjoy bringing external client-service solutions and approaches to my internal client service role to help the firm and my partners meet our business objectives while effectively managing risk.
