Running Simplicity Limited looking after small businesses, support for many businesses and not for profits. The skills are remarkable aligned fortunately for NFPs and businesses alike. I plan to continue flying CJ1+ locally to help out local companies or private owners and get more involved with training related to well being, commercial aviation and RYA boating once again. I also offer a "new aircraft acceptance holding hand" service where I have worked with the customer/owner of new Pilatus PC-24 and keen to work with other new owners on these and other aircraft acceptance tasks. Often having a pilot with handover/acceptance experience present and handy for the test flight and acceptance process off factory can make the experience flow and work far betterSimplicity in particular over the years has been about getting to know the staff so can work alongside and support them with what they may need to enjoy their role more. Sounds simple but often IT is an obstacle rather than a help due to the way it is sold. This is more about chatting, thinking, pondering even and maybe a few suggestions as we move forward togetherIT for charities is a specialism including the provision of software at reduced or sometimes free prices; good to chat! Office 365 and moving to the cloud are effective and reliable options now.We run a small IT company having worked for an international bank previously and successfully moved our department into being an efficient team, I am well placed to work with smaller businesses looking at how and why we do things and then fitting processes and IT software & hardware to these goals; simple really. Not selling IT for the sake of it but learning to grow with the Small Businesses we support.Our own business, specialising in Small Businesses, Charities, Churches and home offices/home. We are Microsoft Partners and offer Office 365 and Azure for moving you home or work to the cloud with confidence. We are so pleased to chat with friends, families and others who may just want to ask some simple questions as this can be a scary time when things change often quite abruptlyThe time with the members has been fun and humbling seeing how rebuilding a vocabulary changes even over a few sessions or seeing how one person created a tapestry that I would happily enjoy on my wall with such delicacy when a while earlier she was not able to move her left hand... that is why we do all of this, and it is deeply humbling. Thanks for letting me helpIf you simply want to know more or even want to see if this may be a good fit for you to come and help at the centre and/or shop do come and have tea with us. Get a feel for how we work and a feel for the support we offer and see what happens…There are loads of helpers…. minibus drivers, 1:1 companions for sessions, helpers for the classes from the centre, help in the Headway Jersey Shop from serving, preparing, collecting and displaying, events help and ideas as well as a fundraising committee, book-keeping, helping on the board to represent our members and island wide reach, Safeguarding, administration...Worked out with directors that this role needed a full-time commitment not just 16 hours a week and along with Simplicity Limited this was not possible.
