I am no longer looking for full or part time work. I recently worked for Ericsson TV (Previously Tandberg Television) as an Exhibitions and Demonstrations Engineer traveling across Europe, India, Africa and the Middle East demonstrating the latest equipment to our customers and potential purchasers. I previously worked as a Customer Service Engineer for the Customer Support Compression Group (Worldwide) I used to deal with customer issues related to the use of our products which covers Satellite Receivers, Multiplexers, Modulators, Streamers, Analysers, Standard Encoders and DSNG encoders offering MPEG2/4 SD, HD and UHD 4:2:0, 4:2:2. and Ericsson NCC control systems. I also managed a number of customer SLA accounts. On occasion I would travel to customer sites to resolve issues and upgrade our products. I was also the provider of Service Partner Training for Business Partners.

Initially I was employed as a Test Engineer and then transferred to the Service Department.I was in daily contact with customers around the world to ensure the smooth running of all their equipment. I also liased with our design teams advising on changes that may be required with either software or hardware depending on customer requirements.I also visited customers, in the UK, USA, Hong Kong and Japan to upgrade and re-commission equipment on numerous occasions. In 1998 I was seconded to Sunnyvale California to organise the set up of Snell & Wilcox's American Service Facility where I was resident for 3 months, with a follow up of 6 weeks to ensure all was going to plan. Whilst working in the Service Department I also arranged specific training courses for the engineers from around the world. Another one of my duties was to help plan and install the required equipment and cabling for the numerous trade exhibitions that the company attended.
