The benefits of this investment exceeded targeted annual cost savings of $65M.* Led business and IT senior management and a Big 4 consultancy through the creation of business cases seeking investments in claim predictive analytics initiatives. Secured $23M in corporate funding.* Led project teams in IT, business, actuary, and Big 4 consultancy through the execution of the entire product development lifecycle, from concept development through field implementation.* Led General Counsel through the design and negotiation of intellectual property rights agreements with Big 4 consultancy as well as $12M in vendor contracts.* Founded and led Chubb’s Predictive Analytics Knowledge Network. This group promoted strategic knowledge sharing and expanded relationships among data analytics leaders across all business units.

Successfully transformed the testing organization and entire upstream SDLC, substantially increasing quality and software engineering maturity.* Overhauled the division’s entire SDLC reducing the number of defects delivered to system testing 10X.* Built a QA team which lowered testing costs 20% through upskilling and optimized methodology.* Appointed by Shared Services SVP to lead the development of Chubb’s enterprise testing methodology.* Introduced test-driven development, Chubb’s most significant software engineering breakthrough in ten years, achieving increased quality, lower total cost of ownership, and lower reliance on SME culture.

At the time, this investment was the largest third-party technology integration project ever attempted by Chubb.* Managed Phase 1 integration of Accenture’s claim management suite into an extensive catalog of enterprise software services.* Managed 65,000 hour Phase 2 project to expand the functionality of Accenture’s claim management suite. Concurrently established key components of the Claim IT division’s software engineering methodology.
