As a Senior UX Designer, I am tasked with leading large-scale, cross-discipline projects that include stakeholders, product leads, business analysts, front and back end developers, content strategists, UX researchers, and other UX designers. This role is specifically applied to the Hospital Quality Reporting contract, providing a system for healthcare providers across the US to submit data to CMS for compliance, feedback, and improvement in the realm of healthcare quality.

As a User Experience Researcher at Softrams, my job was to understand and represent the users of systems being developed at Softrams. Projects included:-Organizing, designing, and implementing a large-scale system review of our clients mission-critical system. This review documented the users and uses of the system in order to formulate a global design and development strategy going forward. Findings and suggestions for this project were implemented across multiple governmental teams, contractors, and internal teams. -Small-scale development projects requiring elicitation of client requirements, implementation into an iterative design cycle, and testing of designs with the client. -Education of internal and external teams regarding UX best practices and how to effectively implement UX in future design and development.

▪ Designed a holistic app for aiding a user through every process of grocery shopping. ▪ Identified user groups and stakeholders to ensure user engagement and buy-in. ▪ Conducted user interviews to gather data on existing work-arounds in the grocery shopping process. ▪ Generated user stories and process flows to identify useful features. ▪ Developed wireframes of the grocery shopping app using InVision. ▪ Designed a prototype using Axure RP following an Agile development methodology.

▪ Re-designed an existing interface resulting in a 10% increase in user performance on an experimental task. ▪ Designed wireframes of the new display using InVision for presentation to management.▪ Conducted user interviews to assess user flow in using the new display.

▪ Developed a display to decrease mistakes by doctors in the prescription of medication for patients. ▪ Converted excel-style data files into interactive, graphical interfaces.▪ Conducted user interviews with medical professionals to gather data on common challenges and work-arounds in the original system. ▪ Created wire frame model of the display using InVision, and conducted usability testing to gather feedback.
