Peter Cryan is the President of Consult Cryan, LLC, a firm that provides technology, equipment, and IoT energy management solutions to food service chains and equipment & supply manufacturers. He started his own consulting in January 2023, after spending more than 20 years as a Vice President of Global Equipment Innovation & Supply at Inspire Brands, one of the largest restaurant companies in the world.Peter has a proven track record of innovating and automating equipment that reduces operational costs, improves food safety, and enhances customer satisfaction. He has received multiple awards for his work, both from Inspire Brands and the industry including most recently 2022's Top Operator Achiever of the year from Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Magazine. He has also been a key contributor to the menu innovation and operational efficiency of Inspire Brands' portfolio of restaurants, which includes Arby's, Baskin Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin', Jimmy John's, Rusty Taco, and Sonic. Peter is also an active member of the advisory board of CFESA, the leading organization for commercial food equipment service technicians.Peter's professional success stems from his passion for challenging the status quo and finding better ways of doing things. He started his career as a dishwasher and worked his way up to a senior executive position, gaining valuable insights and experience along the way.
