Peter Tsang has twenty years of private equity and mergers and acquisitions experience. He is currently the Co-Chief Investment Officer (RCAF) of The Riverside Company. Riverside is a global private equity firm that focuses on control investments in small and medium sized companies. Peter is responsible for overseeing investment selection, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation of private equity investments in the Riverside Capital Appreciation Fund ("RCAF"). In addition, Peter launched the firm’s Education and Training investment effort and served as the industry sector head for the firm globally. Currently, Peter focuses on investing in Tech-Enabled Business Services and Software companies. At Riverside, Peter has completed more than 40 acquisitions and sale transactions totaling over $3 billion of value for RCAF. Peter holds significant portfolio management responsibility for RCAF, including chairman and board member roles at Clinical Education Alliance, Red Nucleus, n2y, Health & Safety Institute, Spectrio, Camelot Education, MNX Global Logistics, Media Source, Crisis Prevention Institute, Inscape Publishing, ATI Enterprises, and FLA Orthopedics, and Adventures in Advertising.Peter holds a BA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Outside of the office, Peter is an avid painter and cyclist and he and his wife and their daughter reside in San Francisco, CA.
