This C# Cohort was an extremely intensive 14 week program designed to train students in Full Stack software development. The coursework was 6 hours each day with the expectation of development and coding during off-times of direct classroom work. Through a mixture of lecture, code-along, individual coding assignments, individual projects, and group projects, students were taught OOP concepts and tools and immediately put them into practice. Students were encouraged to go beyond the learning within the classroom to search for and implement additional tools and code through self-study and enrichment.

K-12 Choir & Band Teacher, Show Choir Director, Musical Director- Crucial Communication Skills - Regularly had to convey difficult concepts to individuals who did not have my technical and life-long expertise. Communicated, individually and publicly, with a variety of people with varying degrees of experience and knowledge bases including students, parents, colleagues, administration and other community stakeholders. Listened with empathy and helped create positive experiences for all involved. Worked collaboratively with all of these groups of individuals as a team, to reach specific goals and create solutions in creation of a strong final product.- Leadership & Organization - Led and organized rehearsals, performances, and educational material. Demanded meticulous attention-to-detail from myself and my students, working to help all achieve mastery of skills for the creation of the best final project we were capable of producing. As a Teacher and Director, I utilized creative problem-solving to deal with many unexpected and immediate challenges within rehearsals, performances, and within the classroom environment. Utilized flexibility in scheduling and teaching as projects needed, whether it was to address some unforeseen difficulty or to adapt to additional needs or conflicts.- Analyzation - Consistently monitored classrooms and rehearsals to analyze situations, evaluate options, and make informed decisions to best reach our desired outcomes. Continuously engaged in personal educational growth to expand my knowledge and expertise through coursework, personal study, self-evaluation, and experiential opportunities.
