• Managed WWF-Greater Mekong's regional Landscape Conservation Program which supports integrated conservation approaches in 7 mostly transboundary landscapes in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Vietnam;
• Coordinated and supported the activities of over 50 staff throughout the region;
• Led direct action and capacity building efforts in integrated spatial planning, ecosystem services mapping and monitoring, climate change adaptation, sustainable production, ecological restoration, and other approaches.
• Led the development of WWF's Myanmar Program.

Thailand

• Identified strategic priorities and coordinated WWF conservation activities within the 21 million hectare Kayah Karen Tenasserim Ecoregion spanning the length of Thailand and Myanmar's shared border;
• Provided strategic guidance, management, and technical support for 8 staff
• Generated $4 million in new project funding in less than 2 years;
• Led WWF-Greater Mekong's international tiger conservation engagement activities during the Year of the Tiger

St. Paul And Cloquet Minnesota & Western Thailand

• While pursuing a PhD in Conservation Biology,
• Taught classroom courses in wildlife ecology and management and systematic conservation planning;
• Led or assisted with applied conservation research projects (and associated capacity building) in Thailand, Cambodia, China, and Michigan; and
• Led field courses in wildlife research and management in Minnesota and Thailand.

• Designed, provided training for, and executed a carnivore monitoring program in the Dong Phayayen / Khao Yai Forest Complex in central Thailand.

• Worked with diverse conservation partners in Cambodia to compile a biodiversity database of 35,000 wildlife records;
• Conducted a formal biodiversity conservation gap analysis of Cambodia's protected area system;
• Compiled an aerial survey database of over 12,000 images during survey flights over every protected area in Cambodia;
• Used Marxan conservation planning software to identify priority areas for adjusting the system to more effectively and efficiently protect the country's biodiversity

Thailand

• Coordinated 3 complementary conservation components (Protection, monitoring, and livelihood development) of the "Surviving Together" program in and around Khao Yai National Park;
• Designed and implemented wildlife monitoring system and associated training for park staff and other stakeholders at the Park.

Thailand / Myanmar

• Coordinated all aspects of an international conference to initiate cooperative conservation in the Tenasserim ecoregion straddling Thailand and Myanmar;
• Developed and published website to publicize outcomes and build communication capacity of project

Thailand

• Co-founded a conservation-focused ecotourism company in Thailand that supports sustainable management of protected areas.
• Designed and developed new offerings and trained staff in field techniques and nature interpretation.
• Led conservation-oriented experiences for adventurous clients in Thailand's most remote backcountry areas.

Cambodia

• Led back country surveys for tiger and other large mammals;
• trained field staff in carnivore survey strategies and methodologies.

Western Thailand

• Designed and led training courses and mentoring experiences for rangers and local residents in and around Thailand's Western Forest Complex.

Trained staff in field techniques, collected botanical specimens from forest canopy, and assisted in mapping tropical evergreen forest vegetation for the establishment of a 50 ha tropical forest research plot.
