During this tenure, I provided exceptional financial leadership over the newly established Thrivent Advisor Network (TAN), from pre-revenue start-up to over $6B in assets under management and $60M in revenue. Built the finance and accounting functions for new business entity with long-range economic return profile. Provided strategic consultation to influence Head of TAN and leader-ship team on financial and operational strategy. Informed executive leadership and Board of Directors about business and strategic results. Cultivated cross-functional relationships throughout Thrivent to leverage internal resources and capacity. In this position, I oversaw the creation of segment-based client reporting, which was used to strengthen sales techniques. I accomplished more competitive pricing and excellent transparency by redesigning underwriting retention models. I was in charge of all North American reporting, presentations, and forecasting for Global Solutions' expatriate and travel insurance, global security operations, global assistance, and third-party claims processing companies.Key Accomplishments:- Established financial models focusing on long-term planning, ROIC, target profit margin, and underwriting retention analysis.- Increased start-up expatriate insurance revenue by more than 25% CAGR to over $300M.- Ensured appropriate staffing for all operational functions with 1,000 employees across domestic operational centers in multiple states and three foreign countries by liaising with business, operations, and human capital executives.
