• Establishing, owning and overseeing a governance and risk framework to be used across the department to ensure quality of delivery
• Creating and driving a departmental roadmap ensuring requests are categorised, prioritised and integrated into individual workstreams
• Leading the governance process by assessing change requests whilst liaising with stakeholders, ensuring that requests meet the required acceptance criteria before disseminating to relevant Product Owners for delivery
• Owning an issue tracking system to receive all change requests, managing permissions and controls, enhancing project boards and workflows and auditing all changes to ensure that they adhere to the governance and risk.
• Managing control testing to mitigate risk and to circulate across the business

• I was accountable for ensuring a robust governance and risk management framework was in place, maintained and adhered to along with assessing, planning and prioritising all website activities within the teams.
• Creating and managing a roadmap and ensure that existing requests were progressing in line with the priority defined in the roadmap. Ensuring new requests were added to the backlog and supported the Product Owner in.
• Managing the work reception governance process assessing new website change requests and liaising with stakeholders to ensure requests were complete and met the required acceptance criteria. Communicating the outcome.
• Carrying out high level impact assessments for large BAU/Project requests and defining any resourcing impact.
• Creating and maintaining the governance model used to progress website change request for auditing purposes.
• Creating, owning and administering the process to track website change requests in line with the governance model.

• Manage and create content on www.teachingscotland.org.uk to ensure that it reflects the work of GTCS. This includes holding regular meetings with the Editor-in-chief of the Teaching Scotland magazine to continually.
• To source and proof articles along with the Editor-in-chief of the Teaching Scotland magazine
• Manage and create content on www.gtcs.org.uk on a day-to-day basis ensuring the site complies with internal style guidelines
• Take forward with colleagues at GTCS and other stakeholders regular in-depth reviews of site content and architecture and develop appropriate means of improving the content and navigation
