Lead a national team of engineers focused on the deployment of large-scale public venue in-building coverage systems. Accomplishment highlights include:Developed and implemented the operational framework for a new venture focusing on in-building public venue coverage. My program consists of three functional areas: 1) strategy, planning and pre-deployment engineering; 2) project management; 3) lifecycle management for deployed in-building systems.Directed all operational facets of the new public venue program: • Formulated operational budget for program funding, manage one-to-five year budget forecasts, business case analysis and development.• Navigated Finance and Fiscal Compliance processes to secure program budget and fund escalated ad-hoc projects.• Aligned strategic direction for program with corporate goals and finance objectives. • Creation of new systems and tools necessary to scale program and enable operational efficiencies, including vendor management protocols and outsourcing initiatives.Establish deployment tactics for current and emerging technologies; Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), small cell het-nets, WiFi.Assembled investment and deployment scenarios for Senior Executives.Negotiated landmark in-building contracts to advance program objectives:• New York City subway, historically the largest in-building project in terms of scope and investment; 279 locations, 20 year lease. • Boston subway, key venue for program; 40 locations, 20 year lease.

Led a team of regionally based engineers to develop custom wireless networks for enterprise customers:Oversaw design and engineering projects for the migration of strategic enterprise customers from the Nextel iDEN network platform to CDMA/LTE based equivalent solutions. • Composed technical RFP responses, engineered custom Push-To-Talk (PTT) networks to support high density user groups, mobilized field testing of PTT hardware and software applications.Ideation, engineering, testing and productization of replacement for Nextel Man-Down service using CDMA SMS platform. • Authored business case for funding, established design specifications for handset firmware and application gateway, conducted usability testing and post-launch acted as product evangelist.Program manager for select projects:Developed program analytics for Nextel customer migration efforts. • Conducted risk analysis for attaining corporate migration targets, audited engineering migration processes to identify opportunities for accelerating wireless systems deployment.Restructured program to outsource Distributed Antenna System (DAS) major deployment functions including: design, deployment, site commissioning and post-deployment DAS operation. • Directed comprehensive system and operational audit to determine program risk and opportunities, redefined internal operational procedures, which drove outsource vendor efficiencies.Drove engineering response for key LTE 700MHz RFP from the State of NJ using the concepts of spectrum hosting and network sharing (pre formation of Next Generation Public Safety Broadband Network initiative).
