A member of the Travelcare executive board, responsible for the groups 4 tour operating businesses.Responsibilities included; the development and implementation of a 5 year growth strategy, achievement of sales and profit targets, the leadership of 650 people and the development and implementation of technology solutions to aid business growth

Overall responsibility for the organisations direct sales channels, 7 call centres and “in house” seat only consolidating tour operator. Responsible for the development and implementation of strategy, achievement of sales & profit targets and the sourcing, development and implementation of relevant technology solutions to support the business needs.

Responsibility for the sales and margins across all of the group’s distribution channels of key product areas, including, ski, cruise, bedbanks, long haul and other niche suppliers. Key accountabilities included; commercial negotiations with suppliers and the development and implementation of sales development plans.

Responsible for the overall day to day management of several regions within the retail branch network. • Increased sales and profits in the North East, culminating in the region becoming the most profitable in the business.• Achieved National Region of the year award in 1998 & 1999, won First Choice Holidays region of the year in 1998.• Asked to manage the organisations 2 largest regions, achieved overall growth in sales of 22% in the first year
