Scheduling of Pharmacy Technician staff. Train & maintain staff competencies as related to 797. Training of new personnel & assisting preceptors in training and teaching students/interns in a hospital setting with relation for Pharmacy Technician duties and various other departmental functions. Troubleshooting of Cerner/PharmNet software issues in conjunction with helpdesk and AHS personnel, troubleshooting Cerner/Pyxis integration, registering new meds with PharmNet as it relates to the facility specific med list, working in conjunction with other PharmNet techs/analysts to update both the Pyxis and facility formulary.Accurately pulling and filling meds for replenishment of Pyxis units. Reviewing override lists and notifying nursing units of discrepancies. Resolving both narcotic and non-narcotic discrepancies in conjunction with appropriate staff.Preparing IVs using sterile technique. Understanding the principles of laminar flow as it relates to sterile compounding. Accurately filling 24hr supply of cart fill meds. Making sure a pharmacist checks all doses before they leave the pharmacy. Screening phone calls, addressing Med Request queue, and offering assistance to caller if pharmacist is not required. Repackaging bulk products into unit dose packaging as needed and appropriate following policy and guidelines.

Order Entry Technician: input Physician/TO orders and IV therapies into Oasis system for both Skilled Nursing Facilities & Assisted Living Facilities, expedite customer service calls, maintain productivity standards to facilitate timely dispensing of medications. Enter New Admits into system, verify receipt of deliveries, verify orders using Sigmacare & various other company preferred software
