At this boutique investment office I was responsible for client relationships, portfolio management and elements of risk reporting.My role focused on ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of information and support for their investment mandate. Alongside my core client relationship responsibilities I also provided portfolio management exposure and risk reporting to internal risk and allocation committees.My day to day activities included: • Working close with clients to ensure smooth implementation of investment instructions /recommendations • Portfolio cash management and securities settlement • Maintaining relationships with fund managers, administrators and other third parties • Helping to prepare client fund recommendations through use of Bloomberg and fund analysis • Providing portfolio analysis for clients, including risk and exposure analysis • Creating processes for the client team that allowed for greater control and clarification of workflowPromoted from Client Services Assistant in March 2015.

At this large asset manager I worked in the portfolio management and sustainability teams as an intern.In this position I worked on a number of projects, including: • Improving the accuracy of sub-property level data across all directly managed funds, thereby providing valuable data to asset managers to evaluate their holdings • Liaising with asset managers, external property managers and valuers to resolve issues and to ensure data received remained of a high quality • Sitting on industry sustainability initiatives and reporting back to the internal sustainable investment committees • Providing long term improvements to internal and external systems • Providing sustainability risk analysis for fund managers and sector heads
