Major areas of responsibility included: Enterprise Software Development, Network Operations, Identity Management and Institutional Data infrastructure. In this role I established the first Student Affairs divisional IT support group, with responsibility for supporting 23 departments and auxiliary units, duties subsequently expanded to also include supporting multiple academic groups across campus.Developed divisional IT budget and staffing plan; managed group through major organizational changes and budget challenges (including system-wide furloughs and staff layoffs). Supervised successful migration of Enrollment Services group to new state-of-the-art document imaging & workflow system, established architecture & business model and oversaw development of first campus-wide Student Information Data Portal system, cross-trained & mentored programming team leads and oversaw introduction of new web-based technologies to software development group; successfully integrated divisional services with campus security infrastructure; oversaw migration of multiple divisional data centers to new campus VM/Cloud data center & divisional component of new VoIP/Call Center initiative.Major management activities include serving as Business Process Re-engineering & Technology consultant for multiple campus-wide Workflow Automation and Data Portal projects and working actively with campus executive management to develop strategies to break down technology silos and organizational barriers hindering the deployment of new IT services.

Supervised all technical aspects of migration of campus EMS system from Banner to PeopleSoft and was active participant in the establishment of associated campus IT technical & policy management advisory groups; supervised campus migration of Learning Management System from WebCT to Blackboard; supervised the design & implementation of state-of-the-art role-based Identity Management System and subsequent deployment & integration with existing divisional & departmental IT infrastructure. Supervised campus implementation of CSU Technology Infrastructure Initiative (TII), a system-wide project to upgrade campus network infrastructure. Project included rewiring over 50 buildings across campus, replacement of more than 500 switches, routers & wireless access points and the seamless migration of all campus users to the new infrastructure.
