Peter is a trusted advisor to Presidents and CEO’s on matters relating to privacy, cybersecurity, business acquisitions, strategic business decisions, product licensing, distribution agreements, franchise disclosure and other issues that affect enterprise viability, survival, and prosperity.He is a Certified Data Protection Officer (IBITG), EU GDPR Certified by the Chartered Institute of Information Security, and has received an Osgoode Certificate in Negotiating and Drafting IT Agreements and an Osgoode Certificate in Blockchains, Smart Contracts and the Law. He is the author of Canadian Franchise Legislation (Thompson Reuters), the first and leading annotation of Canadian franchise legislation.In his "off" time, Peter holds a Master SCUBA certification from PADI, parachute wings from the Canadian Forces, enjoys cooking Italian food (in Italy), and fathers 4 children with his wife Jenn. Peter was awarded the Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal for his work with the Army Cadet League of Canada.
