What to say about my work life the past 55 years.Attending Cass Technical High School introduced me to the world of Electricity.During that time, I worked at Wonderland Music fueling my passion for Music.Playing in Rock bands for 10 years was a singular life experience.My time at Ford Motor Company at the R & E Center was my apprenticeship and prepared me for a future of logic, first principal thinking and finite analysis, thank you George for the 7 year Masters Program.Convinced by RC, I became employee 12 at Volvo Automated System. We built that company into 200+ employees and the pioneer of AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) before it was sold and disappeared.Thank you Diafuku USA for the opportunity to learn the Japanese method of business and to travel to numerous Automotive Plants in Japan, the US and Mexico and learn how to build cars the modern way, thanks Tommy and Yutaka.Lucas Assembly and Test Systems was a Master Class in International Travel and working with unique cultures. As International Account Manager my territory alternated between Korea and Mexico, for the most part. Many times in alternate weeks. (14 trips to Korea in one year) Thanks TomThe unique experience of my time at Schneider Electric was that I worked in the Automotive Group that was more like a solution/integrator engineering company. Ford Stamping Division entrusted our team to provide the controls package for new and retrofit Stamping Presses. Thanks Stan and Kim. They say when you are looking for a job first look for a company you admire. For me that was SIEMENS. I can say now that the role of Automotive BD for the CP Division was my favorite job. Why? It offered me a chance to work with engineers for many automotive manufacturers and travel to Germany and Atlanta and influence product development. Thanks Raj and KimAs a Service Sales Specialist in the new Customer Service Group I got to work with customers on projects that required not just suppling the parts needed but solve the engineering problems and provide the skilled labor to get the project completed. Thank Steve.The ATS Service Solutions Specialist position provided a chance to work on a parts program for an International Solar Panel manufacture. Learn and test a service tracking software solution from Oracle. Develop methods to extract engineering information from legacy data sources.Empire/GCG was a chance to use my SIEMENS knowledge and experience and work with people I knew at SIEMENS supporting our customers in selecting Circuit Protection and Controls Products.
