I am a qualified Airline Captain with 35 years’ demonstrated experience in the aviation industry, twenty of those years spent working as a Captain on wide body Boeing aircraft (such as the Boeing 777), operating on a worldwide network in a very diversified multi cultural environment . I have held numerous Airline Transport Pilots License's and I am Accident Free . I have ICAO Level 6 English Proficiency. Additionally I hold a Certificate 1V in Training and Assessing (TAE40116). I am looking to move out of active flying into a more ground based role such as ( but not restricted to) Aerodrome Management, Flight Safety or Simulator instruction- where I hope that my experience will be of help to aviation orientated companies.I have extensive experience on the Boeing 777, 767 and 737 aircraft, and my CASA Airman’s Reference Number is 534777. Additionally I have experience in airline training + checking, having been a TRI/TRE on the Boeing 767 during my tenure with Gulf Air. I was part of the NOTECH (non-technical skills) project and was active in the development of instructor training videos. I possess additional experience & expertise in Flight Operations Management, having spent time as the Deputy Manager Freighter Operations (B777) at Qatar Airways.

Qatar Airways operated a fleet of 12 Boeing 777 Freighter aircraft and I oversaw line operations of Boeing 777’s & 330 Freighter aircraft. I was part of the assessment team in evaluating the effectiveness of Fire Containment Covers and a significant project was the introduction of South America operations to the freighter network. I worked closely with the Training department to develop a training footprint and operational policy, and established for CAT C operations into Quito Ecuador. I worked collaboratively with the Fleet Management team in terms of crewing, policy, training and safety, and worked alongside the safety department ensuring risk assessments were undertaken in the development of new routes/destinationsOther duties include:• Ensuring adequate training to selected pilots is given when operating into CAT C airfields• Ensuring appropriate standards of cockpit discipline and airmanship in the operation of the fleet• Ensure compliance with all regulatory + violations that occur during fleet operation and drafting report(s) with mitigation strategy(s)
