Responsible for definition of the IT strategy and supporting five year business plan. Collaborate with IT leaders on refresh and delivery of the supporting strategies such as cloud, cyber security, end user compute, network and connectivity, applications and infrastructure. Ensure strategic alignment of initiatives to the IT strategy and supporting strategies via governance, communication, measurement on progress through KPIs, prioritization of initiatives and periodic updates to strategy materials as needed due to internal and external influencing factors.

Responsible for the portfolio architect team reporting to the Enterprise Architecture team. Managed team of four portfolio architects. Continued working on integration projects. Worked to established capacity planning for architecture resources by establishing tracking of project assignments. Worked on key architectural decisions for priority demand items and provided architecture governance for enterprise architecture and portfolio architecture.

Completed key integration activities including review of Cenovus and Husky business capabilities and applications. Recommended rationalization and consolidation of numerous applications in consultation with key IT and business stakeholders. Captured recommendations to consolidate applications in decision records. Team leader for the technical resources that supported Husky's document and content management solutions.- Performed lead duties for the ITM Document Management team. This included people management, collaboration with technical and business teams, application support, procurement, license management, budgeting, reporting, IS changes and continuous improvement.

Supported the document management applications at Husky. Transitioned the organization from FileNet solutions to OpenText solutions. Implemented and support scanning solutions that integrated with SAP for accounting and financial documents.- Key member of team supporting OpenText Content Server (Livelink) and Archive server at Husky.- Migrated document collections from FileNet to OpenText.- Created numerous integrations to FileNet and OpenText.- Supported FileNet Document Management and Scanning applications at Husky. Worked on upgradingsoftware, increasing usage, assisted with implementation of scanning paper invoices and faxes for Husky's AP workflow.- Presented at FileNet conference in 2003.

Supported upstream accounting solutions that were used both in the field and corporate office. Worked on transitioning solutions from IBM mainframe to client server technologies leveraging Oracle/MS SQL databases and C, C++ and PowerBuilder front ends. Supported production accounting application Triangle and the merger between Husky and Renaissance Energy.- Key member of project team to merge Husky and Renaissance Triangle production accountingapplications.- Developed financial interface between Triangle and SAP.- Developed and migrated applications from mainframe to desktops (Rainbow Lake Gas Banking, upgrade from Octagon to PDMS)- Provided support, enhancements and upgrades for Production Accounting applications (Triangle, custom in house written application) on a variety of platforms (Sun UNIX, COBOL, VAX VMS, Windows PowerBuilder, Oracle).
