I am currently a Retired Partner at KPMG. Previously I was the Vice-Chair, KPMG Canada, and also served as the Canadian Managing Partner, Audit (2005 -2012). While managing the audit practice, I was also the Head of the Americas Audit Steering Group (2008 -2012) and served as a member of KPMG’s Global Audit Steering Group (2005 - 2012). I was also a member of the Canadian firm’s Management Committee for over ten years (2001-2012).During my time at KPMG Canada, I oversaw our services to some of Canada’s largest companies. In my 39 years with KPMG, I have worked extensively with technology-based and communications companies in providing audit and business advisory services. In years past, I was honoured to lead the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, where I was involved in significant client service activities, including serving as Global Lead Partner of a Canadian telecommunications equipment manufacturer. Beyond KPMG, I serve on several external committees. I am currently Vice-Chair and a Board Member for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation (CAMH), serving as Chair of the Finance Committee, a Member of its Executive Committee, and a member of the Investment Committee. In addition to my work with CAMH, since 2005 I was a member of the St. Clement’s Girls School’s Board of Governors until 2013. I was also a Member of the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Executive Compensation (2006-2007) and have held various positions with the Toronto Board of Trade (1986-1990). I graduated from Laurentian University with an Honours Degree in Business and Commerce and have lectured at the Rotman School of Management’s Institute of Corporate Directors – Directors Education Program.* Views expressed are my own *
