    Founder of a non-profit organization (501 c3) that grows the leadership capacity of young adults to positively impact underprivileged communities in South Africa. Participants work in South Africa for 18 days each year to experience concepts and situations outside of their "known world" and adopt a hands-on approach to improving a communities. Participants are taken through a unique leadership program to better understanding themselves, their abilities and how they can be dynamic forces for positive change throughout their lives. The project has a heavy emphasis on sustainable working closely with local communities in South Africa to build classrooms, permaculture gardens, keyhole gardens, access to clean water and toilets, food programs and scholarships for dozens of students to attend school. The project has raised close to a million dollars and taken over 500 participants.
