Completed work on my third new database implementation, being coded in various flavors of SQL - from straight up to procedure driven. Also coded wrapper scripts in Perl, as well as having authored an Excel report generator, taking advantage of most of the commonly used features in a workbook to create native (not text-delimited) Excel files.

The most important achievement in my short tenure at Epsilon is discovering and correcting a major processing flaw in their production and development systems. This flaw affected processing times, which - (A) negatively affected SLA delivery to our client, and (B) crippled another client's development platform. Thanks to my tenacity and initiative - as this was not a sponsored activity - the flaw was brought to management's attention, corrected, and deployed across the board. Delivery times were reduced from ~15 hours to ~5 hours!Main responsibilities for the job are:• Perform tasks related to full software development life-cycle.• Plan, analyze requirements, design solutions and develop code for databases using custom ETL tools with complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, SQL Scripts, SQL* Loader and Shell Scripts.• Interact with the business analyst and client representatives to develop technical specifications that meet documented business requirements.• Participate in code review and acceptance process in order to improve methodology and delivery.• Support implementation of business intelligence and marketing automation solutions.• Adhere to production standards in all work products and participate in the refinement of those standards to improve quality and productivity.• Design and implement data mobilization job streams that incorporate data hygiene, merge/purge, and data transformation processes.
