I am employed five days a week at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, in two different roles: three days a week I work as a lecturer for the HBO-ICT programme (mainly Software Engineering). Two days a week I work as a researcher in the Smart Mechatronics and Robotics (SMART) Research Group. Before joining this group, I have been working for the Ambient Intelligence Research Group for 9+ years.My research interests include sensor technology, wireless networks, mobile and embedded application development, Internet of Things.In my spare time I am doing volunteer work as a First Aid/BLS/PBLS instructor, board member (secretary) and first aid provider for EHBO-vereniging Enschede.
