Currently, as Area Director for the South Melbourne S42 region, I oversee and liaise with the executive committees of 5 clubs.Roles and Responsibilities include:- Providing District contact, support, and assistance to the Clubs in Area S42 to help them achieve the Club Mission and fulfil their responsibilities to their members. - Help the Clubs in Area S42 by liaising with the Club Presidents and Vice Presidents, visiting each Club during the year and reporting these visits to Toastmasters International. - Responsible for achieving Distinguished Area Program goals.

As Chief Executive Officer of the club, my work primarily involves general supervision and operation of the club. I do this by working closely with an executive committee that comprises a Secretary, Vice President - Education, Vice President - Membership, Vice President - Public Relations, Treasurer and Sergeant at Arms.Specifically, my duties involve:- Presiding over club meetings.- Guiding the club in carrying out its mission and ensuring that all club activities are in accordance with Toastmasters International guidelines.- Plans and lead Distinguished Club Program/Club Success Plan meetings and issuing report.- Assuring that the Semiannual Membership Report is complete and issued on time.- Representing the Club at Area/District meetings.- Planning agenda and presiding over club executive committee meetings.
