As Staff Engineer at Boozt, I've been working across a lot of different projects. The position entails both internal consulting with other teams, helping to create or improve projects, as well as create internal tools, and work on cloud infrastructure.

At first, main responsibility was developing the companys reporting platform, ensuring that relevant products got developed for online presence. Tasks were full-stack development using PHP, SQL, JS, HTML, CSS, as well as taking part in planning and designing online products. With time, tasks expanded to be more DevOps in nature - full-stack development, handling server maintenance (mainly linux servers) and network maintenance. This further expanded to IT-security and handling GDPR implementation.

Working as a full-stack developer on many different projects. Intern1 created websites for clients mainly in the travel industry, but also webshops and branding sites. Apart from design I worked on all aspects of projects, both front and back - technologies and languages including PHP, JS, SQL and various frameworks.I was also responsible for handling a bigger client and their marketresearch reporting site - creating the first version based on spec received from client and colleagues, while taking part in writing the spec for subsequent versions.Later on during my work at Intern1 I also took on server and network maintenance tasks, handling security and updates for internal servers.

I worked across all the sites managed by Aardvark Media, focusing mainly on providing support, maintaining code and implementing new features. At the time, the bigger clients included LateNightLondon (main site and sites for venues), Slug and Lettuce and SquareMeal - work tasks included supporting these clients as well as smaller projects too, for various requests relating to the websites. Technologies used were mainly PHP, JS, HTML/CSS and SQL - your average full-stack set.The position gave me a lot of experience both in client relations as well as development - and some specific technology skills both language related and platform related: the environment was heavily Linux influenced and open source based.

At Informa Healthcare I was in charge of handling the online publishing of the news-streams as well as collaborating with our publishing partners. I was also in charge of a major retrofitting project, getting a large back-catalog of magazines published online - part of this task was to create and maintain tools for QA of the product.
