About Peter Epp
I am a motivated Civil & Structural EIT and Chair of the Northern American New Professionals Program at Ausenco. That program assists recent graduates and new professionals with their transition to the industry by providing meaningful resources and networking opportunities. In late 2023 and through July 2024, I worked onsite in North Carolina, USA for Sibelco. I performed a structural inspection of a process plant and designed and detailed repairs. Additionally, I completed a plant-wide inspection of the floor grating systems, and assisted with the construction management of ongoing seismic retrofitting works.In 2022, I graduated from UBC in the Master of Applied Science (MASc) program in Civil Engineering. Specializing in Structural and Earthquake Engineering. My thesis presents the results from the development of a database of structural failures. The structures considered are bridges, buildings, and telecommunication towers.
