Managing Director
CurrentSci-Tech (POB) is a technology company created originally to develop and exploit the POB (Person OverBoard) concept. It was formed by Peter Hall and Christine Edwards after they became the first Triple Winners in the history of the European Satellite Navigation Competition in 2008, winning the UK Regional, overall Galileo Masters, and GSA Special Topic prizes. After refocusing the concept as a marine tracking system, they graduated from an 18 month stay in the ESA Business Incubator at Harwell in 2013 and are now based in the Harwell Innovation Centre within the Space Cluster. The tracker has had successful tests with divers at sea and inland, and Sci-Tech (POB) are now actively seeking investment / partners to bring the concept to market.
