As an experienced organization development professional, Peter Spratt is able to draw upon a career that spans over 40 years. Working primarily with public sector and broader public sector clients, he specializes in workplace conflict resolution, investigations, assessments and facilitation. He has extensive experience working collaboratively with employers and bargaining unit executives.Peter has led workplace assessments with large employee groups; conducted investigations of workplace complaints: harassment, sexual harassment, toxic workplace, human rights, code of conduct and interpersonal issues; facilitated joint union-management problem solving task groups; worked with and supported teams/groups/boards in conflict, and provided restorative coaching to those involved in workplace disputes. Peter has mediated harassment/bullying complaints, interpersonal issues and return-to-work plans with workplace parties.Peter is a Qualified Mediator (Q.Med), accredited by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada (ADRIC), and is certified as a Workplace Fairness Analyst by the Workplace Fairness Institute of Canada. He previously held the CHRP/CHRL designations as a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association for over thirty years.He earned an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies (BES) from the University of Waterloo, an MBA with specialization in Organization Development from York University, and a Certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation from the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies, Conrad Grebel University College, affiliated with the University of Waterloo. Most recently, Peter completed the requirements for a Certificate in Non-Profit Governance from the Governance Professionals of Canada.
