Co-editor in chief at the communication blog Spotlight Effect. Spotlight Effect was awarded a Dutch Bloggie for Best Marketing Blog of 2008. My activities included blogging about the wonderful world of marketing, but also the development of new revenue generating concepts and our strategy as a platform for Dutch communication talent.

At the Artrose & Reuma Stichting (Osteoarthritis & Rheumatism Foundation) I helped the marketing and communication department by developing and deploying a brand new marketing plan.

At Unanimis I was responsible for their mobile marketing and advertising business in the European market. By working with advertisers like Shell, T-Mobile and Google, I helped publishers like The AA and The Telegraph to generate more traffic and revenue from their mobile websites.

At WebAds I worked in the area of mobile publishing and mobile advertising. Besides this I kept a close track on the latest developments in the mobile market.

After a year on the board I stayed involved with Mercurius by having a seat in the Advisory Counsil. This counsil helps the current board out whenever any problems occur. Mainly financial and legal issues.

At Jong! me and my partner Ernst-Jan created a corporate identity for small and medium sized Dutch businesss. Our main activitities evolved around corporate blogging. We advised companies on corporate identity and the role of web2.0 in all of this and then helped them to develop a web2.0-proof identity.

Unfinished internship at a local Dutch newspaper. It turned out that the step from new media to traditional media is impossible to make.

Corris BV is a company that is hired by non-profit companies to gain more donors. Corris employees stand in shopping areas and malls to convince people to become a donor for a certain non-profit company. My role as a trainer was to select and train new employees. A role in which I gained very interesting skills like presenting to a crowd, making training sessions interactive, motivating and inspiring people and monitoring people as well.

Board Member at the Study Association of Communication Studies at the University of Amsterdam. My role in the board was setting up a speakers event about privacy issues on the internet, a career day with around thirty workshops of companies in the media and communication industry and the annual party in a big club in Amsterdam.

At BC Arcade I trained kids between 6 and 12 in the fine arts of badminton.
