Academically engaged in teaching at the Catholic University School of Medicine and Surgery, as contract professor, at the PharmaTech Academy held by the University of Naples Federico II, and as invited speaker at different University's courses, conferences and educational events. Head of Medical Innovation at AstraZeneca, where he is dedicated in building new platforms for research and innovative solution in healthcare. He is engaged in the CaReMe Global Alliance, aimed at scaling integrated multidisciplinary care for patients living in the CVRM risk continuum, including chronic co-morbidities, applying RWE for quality of care monitoring and scouting innovative digital health technologies, remote monitoring devices and patient's management solutions. He is also a non-executive Partner at HealthTech180, acting as scientific and research advisor for start-ups and former Chairman of the Board at Hemostatics and at Exostatics. Life dedicated as a clinician/researcher/business leader to identify and implement effective, personalised and possibly scalable solutions to help people succeed in living a healthy live, addressing life-threatening conditions in the acute emergency settings as well as preventing epidemic-size diseases that share common pathways and removable behaviour-related risk factors.
