I run a contract writing and consultancy agency primarily centered on: - Proposal and grant writing for non-profits - public policy think tanks, affordable housing, access to mental health and financial services, and more.- Strategic branding and marketing for businesses of all sizes. - Journalistic endeavors, mainly around geopolitics, energy, environment, and trade, with some technology mixed in for good measure.

Managed the development of key school initiatives ranging from growing academic programming via fundraising for financial aid, the arts, science/math, athletics, etc., as well as strengthening ties with the community (private companies, an alumni network of 9,000 + worldwide, the Chilean government, and local municipalities). Supervised a staff and volunteer base and reported directly to the Head of School. Worked closely with Board members on various committees (Advancement, Endowment Fund, and Policy) and strategically partnered the school with people and entities in Chile and Latin America.- Transitioned the school’s Endowment Fund from an internal repository to a capital markets managed fund.- Our department created the first financial aid fund targeted at bringing low-income students to Nido.- Took on the role of Business Manager for the School’s for-profit entity with the goal of being an additional revenue generator (renting out our facilities when school is not in session as well as creating joint educational programs with public and private entities for third parties).

Supervised Make-A-Wish operations throughout Chile and directly administered all fundraising, marketing, communication, programming, accounting and reporting of foundation activities. Oversaw a staff and volunteer base of roughly 90, and worked closely with a Board of Directors specifically in the areas of fundraising and strategic planning. Managed relations with a donor/investment base comprised of corporations (Chilean and international) and individuals with a mix of high-profile events throughout the year.- Our team increased foundation revenue base by 372% from 2013 to 2017. - Grew the number of annual corporate sponsors by nearly 800% over the same period. - Steered the chapter from a start-up to a medium phase affiliate in four years.

Transitioned into a full-time position with the Boulder Institute (a former client of Pole to Pole Consulting). Managed all aspects (trainee selection, monitoring, evaluation, financial tracking and reporting) of the Institute's largest educational training fund for 3 consecutive years. Sold the training (and managed the contracts) to international development organizations (USAID, DFID, GTZ, World Bank, IMF) government ministries, central banks, and commercial banks throughout North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa and South-East Asia. Worked closely with the CEO in researching and developing training content for English, Spanish and French language trainings.

Pursued a graduate degree in Public Administration between 2005 and 2007 at which time Pole to Pole was launched to take on small, part-time contracts. The consultancy grew and assumed the position of Development Director, full-time, in 2007. Worked both remotely and on the ground (Latin America specifically) on a range of capacity building, design/branding and project management initiatives. Notable contracts: - Yale University (Innovations for Poverty Action) – Project manager of a study examining financial literacy, present-bias, and health and savings outcomes in Chile. - Grameen Foundation – Developed, via extensive field-work in Brazil, a strategic plan to expand the Latin American division of the microfinance foundation. - Results Technology Solutions, Inc. – Data analysis for a U.S.A.I.D. longitudinal democratic norms study in Colombia, Mexico and Peru.- Vision Group – Secured financing for operational programming for non-profits working in the fields of education, health-care and employment in Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia.
