Recommends alternative development standards, protocols and processes to meet specified objectives.• Advises on City planning policy initiatives from an urban design perspective. Promotes new policy initiatives and revisions to existing Official Plan policies. Advises on Secondary Plan policy review.• Attends and testifies at Ontario Municipal Board hearings as an expert urban design witness.• Prepares reports and presentations to PI&S Committee and Council, makes presentations to stakeholders and public related to planning and urban design matters affecting the City.• Establishes work processes and interaction with other sections and departments requiring urban design participation and assigns and manages urban design team resources.
