Having had an amazing 20+ year career in Client Services and Technology, I went on to build, run and exit multiple businesses in my time. I now run Emanda Group and mutliple other businesses that all lend a hand to businesses looking to do the same. Grow, Scale, Exit and Change... I have lived and breathed all of it myself and now have helped hundreds of businesses do the same.Taking all I learnt, I made over 30 investments in the last 5 years hoping that in some small way, I can share in other's sucess and give them an unfair advantace where I can in helping them grow.I now work in a world of finance and technology, looking to disrupt the industry norms and bring advance technology, AI and change to the Finance and Legal industries. So much so, I'm becoming a lawyer just so as to know how to disrupt myself! I secretely keep a count of the P&Ls I've read and reviewed, but stopped count at over 1000. I love helping businesses start, grow and exit, but I'm also passionate about ensuring the change and morph in a very sustainable way to get where the owners or board of directors want the business to be.

Enterprise Solutions ArchitectAnz Aug 2011 - Mar 2012Having lived the life of modern design and processes, I moved to ANZ to explore whether or not the world of enterprise banking could adopt the same principals and practises. I worked as an Enterprise Architect and through this I worked on some interesting projects:- Provide low level Unix architecture and design on a variety of projects.- Developed the design, and matured the architecture for Retail Risk Modelling platform using SAS Analytics, AIX and IBM P Series. This was the first P Series implementation at ANZ.- Created the Solution Design for the Comprehensive Credit Reporting platform using MS SQL Cluster, Oracle 11g and Purpose Built Applications. First Agile project for ANZ.- Design and guide delivery on the Risk Engine Replacement. The project used Oracle Solaris, Oracle DB, Murex, Oracle M series infrastructure, and many more other components.- Design and guide delivery of the new Esanda and ANZ Collection Dialler. The is the implementation of Black Box Appliance solutions in the bank.- Design and help implement Agile development and automated deployments in E2E environments. Solution uses Windows, MS-SQL, SCM, SVN, etc.Surprise surprise, banking wasn't ready for advanced developer velocity as there were too many constraints around compliance and critical banking licenses mandates. That said, I was able to develope the "AAAAGH" (As Agile as Agile Gets Here) Principals for future projects at the bank. This saw the development and product teams at least have visibility into critical timings for environment spit up, and the ability to at least quickly manage environments once they were created. We didn't get to cattle over pets, but we got to as good as we could.
