Founding member (SVP and two directors) of a new division within the health plan to manage all non-core lines of business focused on core markets and existing customers. As Director, Strategy and Transformation managed a portfolio of blue-chip projects and initiatives to drive higher revenues and reduce cost.Key Accomplishments: (1) Launched a bundled pricing program for dental and vision insurance which led to close ratios over 40%, up from single digits and drove net growth in both categories during the pandemic as the market experienced a reduction in size. (2) Led an initiative to increase sales volume and margin for our employer stop loss business through an MGU partnership. In the first two sales cycles, close ratios improved, and the product drove $8.4M in new premium. (3) Led two successful PBM market checks and managed the strategy, design, and release of PBM RFP across across all markets and segments.
