Travelled with Pope John Paul on two historic pilgrimages, covered the terrorist campaigns in Ireland, reported on the Lockerbie bombing, the Hillsborough Disaster, the year long Miners Strike and many other major issues. Met and interviewed a diverse range of personalities, including Presidents, Prime Ministers and Princes as well as Hollywood icons and global music stars.In PR, I have advised sponsors of major events , including the Commonwealth Games, the inaugural Round the World Yacht Race as well as major organisations in the public and private sectors on media relations, reputation management and business development strategiesI now use my varied and extensive experience to advise Boards and senior executives in diverse sectors on how to plan and prepare for those unexpected crises that threaten the operational, financial or reputational well-being of an organisation as well has handling communications around ‘live’ crisis issues.
