➢ Managed the re-slotting of 60,000 sqft of a warehouse; making a considerable significant impact on picking productivity and reducing labour costs due to increased operational efficiency and effectiveness.➢ Significantly improved pick-rate productivity by 250% for Wal-Mart handbags/wallets, 395% for Wal-Mart travel, 366% for Health & Beauty Division, 126% for Wal-Mart fitness.➢ Developed and managed cycle counting programs; identifying root causes for errors and implementing new operational process, resulting in increased inventory accuracy from 33% to 91% over a 9 month period. ➢ RE-slotted the fitness division; 30,000 sqft resulting in each SKU having a pick-face on the floor level, and ensuring only full pallets in reserve locations; increasing pick rates, improving reach driver effectiveness and significantly improving warehouse pallet and cube utilization; resulting in 3 FTE reduction in labour.➢ Created a daily consolidation program to continuously reduce the number of less-than-pallet locations throughout the warehouse; increasing both pallet and cube utilization.➢ Created KPI’s to track drivers, pickers, inventory accuracy and dock-to-stock times, resulting in identifying issues with current process, recommending process enhancements, and increasing productivity. ➢ Created SOP for forklift drivers to standardize operational procedures and training of new staff to ensure new processes are well understood and being followed by the team.➢ Worked effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams, including those from purchasing, sales, and the warehouse.
