I led all aspects of Metrograph's SVOD streaming service, including product management and engineering. I launched TV apps on multiple OTT platforms and integrated Metrograph's streaming subscription into a seamless in-theater membership, including ticketing discounts, e-commerce, and more. I also designed systems for making data-informed film acquisition decisions and ran performance marketing and advertising on Facebook and Google.

As owner of one of Vimeo's primary business verticals, I led strategy, product management, engineering, curation, operations and marketing for Vimeo's viewing destinations on the web, TV and mobile, including Vimeo Originals, SVOD and Vimeo's open platform of free and VOD films, series and other videos. In this role I reported directly to the CEO of IAC (Vimeo's parent-company).

In my initial role at Vimeo, I managed the VOD marketing team, did business development, including launching the VOD Publisher Network affiliate program, and guided strategy and product related to VOD. I also did acquisitions, signing up distributor catalogs and prominent film releases. Managing a multi-million dollar budget, I established processes for effective film and series marketing campaigns using the latest digital targeting and out-of-home advertisements, and pioneered new approaches for effective influencer marketing. In addition to managing our buyer funnel and lifecycle, I oversaw our VOD seller lifecycle, working with content providers to maximize their marketing effectiveness and revenue.

I invented the shareable video trailer with built-in web-shop for digital rentals, downloads, movie tickets, DVDs and other merchandise. The Distrify Player allowed purchases wherever it was embedded and tracked affiliate revenue to anyone who shared a film. With this invention, I co-founded Distrify, which was a pioneer in direct-distribution for independent films. As CEO, I was in charge of acquisitions, product management, business development, design, user experience, publicity, marketing, sales, technical leadership, software development, project management and customer support. I grew the company to have 250,000 registered users with thousands of films. Hundreds of distributors, filmmakers and affiliates are earned revenue through the service. I secured content promotion partnerships with major publishers including The Guardian and Metro US and negotiated contracts with distributors including British Film Institute, Wolfe Video, Artificial Eye, Drafthouse Films, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and many more. I have been quoted in all the major trades (Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Screen, etc.) and interviewed for articles in the Wall Street Journal and The Observer. I also wrote regularly for the blog and contribued guest columns to IndieWire, Screen International and more. I am regularly invited to speak at film festivals, from Cannes to Sundance to IDFA, and also technology conferences like the Edinburgh Turing festival. I was awarded the British Council’s Creative Entrepreneur Award in 2013 and named in the Hospital Club’s h.Club100 list of the most innovative and influential people in the creative industries.
