I've been the Global Head of Technology (CIO Office) at Thoughtworks for 16 years and I have over 20 years experience leading both nimble, lean startup teams and large-scale enterprise engineering organisations. I've spent the last 5 years leading a transformational tech strategy which pioneered event driven architectures, developer platforms and data mesh. This allowed full end-to-end automation of operations and business wide data insights playing a key role in enabling the organisation to grow at 20%-30% year on year, from $500m revenue to $1.3bn, whilst simultaneously reducing SG&A from 31% to 22% and increasing EBITDA from 12% to 20%.The main things I bring to my role are:I am strategic: I link business and technology.
